One of the most striking sconces ever to have come out of the 1920 to 1930s era.
Attributed originally to Lincoln Manufacturing Co., this sconce was an intensive casting nightmare for the foundry of the times. As any casting man will tell you, casting a reticulated item is a nightmare for gating and the pouring of metal. Just one misrun and the entire casting is ruined.
We find those same difficulties too, but, we think that this design is most worthy of being revived since we are just confident enough to cast the very difficult. This sconce is simply lovely to behold and an outstanding decorative accent.
The sconce is made from aluminum and zinc so it imparts a lovely pewter accent just as the originals did. It is fitted with a high quality porcelain candelabrum socket which will accept any candelabrum bulb or our candelabrum LED bulb (35C-E12).
It also has a rotary switch identical to the sconces of that era.
