Isn’t this fun. We designed this fixture for a restaurant in Florida. It comes from an actual antique sconce and changes were made to allow it to be UL approved. Just kinda neat. Cast from various white metals, it approximates a sunrise (or sunset) through a palm tree. The painting is hand done so each sconce will vary a tiny bit with its hand-painted nature, but close enough to match for sure. The sun is a mica panel so the“sun” shines through it with a very nice effect. While the socket is rated for wattages higher than 100, we found that a smaller bulb gives a great ambiance. As the sconce sits, it does not have a switch. A rotary old fashion style switch can be added for a small additional cost.
