Art Deco Streamline to the Max. We decided to cast one of the most classic designs ever to grace the market of 1935-6. Yes, a casting...not a tinny sheet metal product but a chandelier of substance and class for a very special decorative effect. Consider the concentric designs on the canopy and on the shade fitters. Note the finial with those same neat rings. Even matches the shades which are custard glass and have the very same concentric rings around their waist. Total design symmetry. If you like Art Deco and especially like Art Deco Streamline design, this fixture might well be for you. And if you have a normal 8 foot ceiling, just think about all of this design packed into a mere 12 3/4” of height. This is the total height from the ceiling to the bottom of the center finial. So very nice. The shades are not included with this chandelier. Our shades are 5 1/4” diameter at the fullest part, being the slip in type. We stock these shades if replacements are desired in the future. And...if you desire to match, you can purchase these streamline modern shades separately. They will fit into a 1 3/4” diameter fitter which was a common size in the 30’s. The five sockets can handle up to 100 watt incandescent bulb each, or purchase our optional LED Art Deco looking bulb 60-WW-E26 , each using only 7 watts and putting out about 75 watts of incandescent equivalent light. Makes running the close ceiling chandelier all night long, perhaps as a nite lite, very economical indeed and cool to the shades as well.
