Art Deco - Lovely pair of 1920 Deco Wall Sconces

Original antique sconces with orginal Opal and clear glass antique shades.
These original antique shades are also so very nice. They are an ivory color with a clear band of Art Deco design at the top which is very striking. A nice combination indeed.

The metal, of the backplates, is cast metal with a lovely pewter finish. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. We would recommend our LED candleabrum bulbs, 35C-E26 if you wish ambiant light rather than full room power. The ambiance of these bulbs is warm and they draw so little electricity (1.6 watts) that we have known folks that leave them on 24/7. The bulbs do have an expected life of 25 - 30,000 hours.

However,,,if a stronger light is desired....we suggest a tubular S-10 bulb which is the same kind of tubular bulb often used in desk lamps. It gives a balanced light for this longer shade.

These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire.

Measurements: The Overall sconce height is 11”. The maximum width (shade) is 3 7/8”. It will project into the room, from the wall 5 3/4”. The backplate, by iteself, measures: 9 3/4” tall by 3 3/8”.
