Anthroposophical Serving Trolley by Felix Kayser, designed C.1935 and built in 1950. Solid oak and oak veneer with brass wheels. Perfect condition, refinished with loving care--one leg where the wheel attaches has been repaired but it is all but unnoticeable. (Height 30in. x width 21 1/8in. x length 36 3/8in. This serving trolley is exceptionally well made, all joints and shapes are made with extra care. The top side flange is in a wide chevron shape which is repeated with a slightly steeper chevron on the ends of the trolley. Provenance: From an anthroposophical household, Horchst near Frankfurt, family ownership until 2012. Wickipedia. Since purchasing this trolley at Dorotheum Auction in Vienna, Austria I have seen several more Anthroposophical pieces for sale in Austria. However I have not found one for sale at any other European auction house. This piece would work wonderfully as a lamp table in the living room as well as a bar or serving cart.
