The Speakeasy Bar and Lounge, sponsored by the Original Miami Beach Antiques Show, also will be open in the pavilion.

"AMERICAN ART DECO FURNITURE"
A book discussion led by Iza Emmett on her late husband's book, American Art Deco Furniture. American Art Deco Furniture is a limited edition book of only 1,000 copies written by Ric Emmett. Throughout Ric's 38 years of experience in buying, selling and collecting Art Deco, he became one of the world's most knowledgable and respected experts in Art Deco in general and American Art Deco in particular. He dedicated years to research which gave him the ability to write this book. Even so, it took him 5 years to complete.
At 569 pages, the American Art Deco Furniture book contains over 200 previously unpublished photographs of amazing furniture, over 200 pages of period documentation including copies of advertising, press releases and patents.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Iza Emmett owns and operates Modernism Gallery and Modernism.com. Iza's late husband and business partner Ric Emmett wrote the book American Art Deco Furniture. Ric worked closely with Iza on all his projects. Currently, Iza is working on finalizing Ric's second book, American Art Deco Lighting.
