The New York School of Interior Design presents Collecting Design, a 10-part seminar series headed by Daniella Ohad Smith that will examine the history and current state of 20th century design, with a specific interest in collecting and aspects of the marketplace. Periods covered will include Arts & Crafts, Art Deco, Modernism, Mid-Century, Postwar, and American Studio. Dr. Ohad Smith and numerous guest lecturers will provide insights through their own experiences as collectors, dealers, curators and writers.The class is offered in day or evening sessions, and may be taken as the full course or in single classes.
