Description

Extremely rare Art Deco Coffee service by Manning Bowman, this is the "Harmony" model.

The design was inspired by a prototype coffee machine designed by Eliel Saarinen for the 1933 Chicago World's fair.  The set is complete with all the inner percolator components and electric cord.

The coffee service, with beautiful black painted wooden handles, knobs and bases, consists of the coffee urn with matching creamer and sugar, both with their lids.

The service is presented in an engaging spherical design in polished chrome with rounded and ribbed handles.  The bases to all pieces is in a very Modernist Art Deco stepped design with ribbed design elements also seen on the knobs and handles.

Coffee urn is approximately 12" tall and 10" deep.  Creamer and sugar are both approximately 5 1/2" tall with 3 1/2" diameters.

In excellent to very good original condition ... a truly beautiful and functional coffee service that will elevate your entertaining style!
