The 2015 Antiques + Modernism Winnetka Show will open with a Preview Party on Thursday, November 5 and run from Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8. Presented by The Woman’s Board of Winnetka Community House, this spectacular style and design event has become a beloved tradition in Winnetka and on the North Shore.
The exhibition will encompass periods of design ranging from the 17th century to the mid 20th century. Esteemed dealers from across the country will showcase fine examples of American, European, and Asian antiques, as well as pieces from the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid-Century design movements. The exhibition and sale will offer furniture, silver, ceramics, jewelry, garden antiques, lighting, rugs, textiles, fine and folk art, architectural artifacts and more. Collectors, designers and hobbyists alike will delight in the extensive inventory of beautiful objects presented at the historic Winnetka Community House as well as enjoy the many special events and learning opportunities offered throughout the weekend.
