This is an original antique Art Deco oil painting. It is a very well done and detailed portrait of an attractive lady. She is dressed in colorful clothing reminiscent of the costume of a Gypsy or rural European girl, with a large hoop earring and holding a tambourine. It is signed and dated E. M. Ossman 1938 at the lower right. There is minor paint loss near the edges and corners and a small, light crease at the lower right corner. Otherwise, it is in excellent antique condition. Medium is oil on canvas mounted on board. Size is about 22"w x 27 1/2"h. Unframed.
