  • Robert Aibel is one of the world's leading authorities on George Nakashima, both as a collector as well as a dealer since 1984.  I was most impressed by his exhibit at the Design Miami - Basel show at the beginning of this month.  While we were "talking" I thought how great would it be if we could showcase his great knowledge of the work of this Icon of American Design.

  • ART DECO RULES!  Very seldom do I find folks that are as passionate about Art Deco in particular and Design in general as I did last November 14th at the Art Deco Museum at the Miami Design Preservation League presentation of Judith Miller's new book!  The group of about 100 attendees defying a rainy day was enthusiastic and asked very pointed and well thought out questions.

  • Airbnb will collaborate with Pedro&Juana, an emerging Mexico City-based design studio founded by Ana Paula Ruiz Galindo and Mecky Reuss. At Design Miami/ 2016, Airbnb and Pedro&Juana will present Sobremesa, a lively exploration of shared space. “Sobremesa” is the Mexican tradition of sharing time and space lingering around the table after a meal in casual conversation.
