Description The figure of a cyclist almost transformed into a pure graphic symbol of power and speed--a sort of lightning bolt in primary colors that also serves to lead the eye to the brand name--is, quite literally, striking. The brief, bright flash of Favre's career left us with a large body of fine poster work (ca. 1927-1935, with many bicycle posters), but we remain in the dark about his life.
