Caroline Vanneste is a Belgian artist born in 1970, who has been since her childhood immersed in the world of the Flemish Primitives. As a child she was fascinated by technique, colour depth as the delicate use of pigments. Inspired by Breughel and Jeronimus Bosch, she now creates with a very unique style a blend resembling Rothko and De Stael.
Her soulful paintings made with beautiful pigments are playfully expressed through a perfectly controlled technique on an acrylic base.
Each oeuvre gives the liberty to the viewer to plunge into one's own imaginary world. Names, moods, words have been obliterated in order to keep the freedom to experience intact.
Her art is well known and well appreciated in the circle of collectors. She has been exhibited on numerous occasions in Belgium as well as abroad.
