Art Globe on Walnut Atlas Base. Uncoated gores over pasteboard, plastic time dial at North Pole (not in good condition, would have to be replaced). Ocean finished in yellow with vignette depictions of various sailing ships. Cast bronze full ring meridian moving within art moderne pillars atop a raised walnut boxlike book holder. Shows nautical distances, the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, the International Date Line, British Empire in pink, Chosen (Korea) and Formosa and Japanese territory. Shows the Third Reich in its post-Munich borders. Czechoslovakia does not exist and Slovenia is a German protectorate.
