Abstract Lithograph by Loren G. Janzen- signed and dated 1972
This interesting abstract lithograph by expert print maker and artist Loren G. Janzen appears to show a group of worlds colliding in shades of blues and greenish greys. Colors are richer than the photographs show and the piece is in very good condition overall. The lithograph measures 22" Height x 29" Width.
Loren G. Janzen (1938-2006) is a contemporary American painter and printmaker. He studied at the university of Wichita and obtained his BFA and MFA. He was a professor at the University of Texas at El Paso and was also a member of the Texas Printmakers Association. His work has been exhibited at the Arkansas Art Center, Dickinson State College and the El Paso Museum of Art. His paintings and prints are held in the collections of the Philbrook Museum of Art, the Arkansas Art Center, the Wichita Art Museum and other public and private collections.
