This very elegant French Art Deco cameo glass vase was created by Charles Schneider (1881 – 1953) for his Le Verre Francais line.  The vase, in the “Digitalis" cutting, stylized digitalis flowers in red glass over an underlayer of mottled orange and opaline glass.  The 11” tall vase has a fiery glow in transmitted light.  It is signed  “Le Verre Francais”.  11" high (30 cm.)
