This American art deco nickel plated desk lamp was made by the Markel Corporation of Buffalo, New York. The swivel shade is of polished copper and the very streamline base starts on three discs surmounted by a three step finial with an elongated "C" support to the copper shade.   The base is a stepped geometric design in Bakelite on four ball feet in nickel.  This very rare Markel lamp is 9 1/4" tall and 12" long.  The lamp has been rewired and is ready to plug in and use!
