Solid marble square table with four cylindrical legs. Very heavy and minimalist by design. Colonnato Table, Mario Bellini, Cassina, 1977.
This substantial table design in marble (its name means “colonnade” in Italian) was available in round and square versions – each with a varying number of columnar underside marble supports. While the overarching aesthetic is informed by the massiveness of the designer’s choice of marble, the ultimate form of each table is determined by the consumer’s flexibility in their placement/arrangement of the underside columns. 55.25" L x 55.25" W x 28.5" H
