This vintage striking French art deco stone lithograph poster for the 1931 Paris Colonial Exposition is by Joseph de la Neziere (1873 – 1944) who was famous in that period as a water-colorist specializing in oriental art. The poster is signed in the stone on the lower right “J. de la Neziere” and noted on the lower left “Imp de Vaugirard, Paris 1928”. The poster measures 47-1/4” x 31-1/2” and is in a black ebonized frame measuring 53” x 36-1/4”. It is in “A” condition.
