This single owner Paul McCobb night stand for Wichendon (planner group series) is in excellent vintage condition with normal wear and original finish. We tried to picture any imperfections. We love McCobb and are very excited to have it!

Paul McCobb was an industrial designer who had no formal design training, but opened his own studio in New York in 1945. He worked as a decorator and retail merchandiser, and eventually turned to furniture. By the mid-1950s, he was known as ""America's Decorator"" launching the ""Planner Group"" furniture series, among others. While he was a contemporary of other well-known furniture designers such as Charles Eames and George Nelson, his early death prevented similar professional recognition during his lifetime.
