This extremely elegant French art deco chandelier was designed by French glass master Charles Schneider in the 1930’s. The bronze fixture begins with a grape leaf ceiling cap from which three chains plunge down and out at a 45° angle to support a center bowl with a vanilla yellow ground overlaid in chocolate and acid etched to reveal the rare geometric pattern. It is signed with the fabled "candycane" in the rim. The chandelier/ ceiling pendant lamp is 13" in diameter and 9 1/2" high. With the ceiling cap and the chains the drop is 25" from the ceiling.
