PERSONNAGES AILEES or WINGED FIGURES by Stanley William Hayter (English, 1901-1988) Master Printmaker created this engraving, soft ground etching and scorper in colors prtint on Lauriat paper printed by Hayter and Atelier 17 Studio in Paris in 1952 In  an edition of 90.   This work numbered 69/90 on the lower left and signed in pencil on the lower right.  Published by Kornfeld/Klippstein, Bern. 
The plate is 15 5/8" x 13" (39.7 x 33 cm) and the sheet is 25 15/16" x 20" (65.9 x 50.8 cm).   It is framed and matted and is 27" x 23" overall.  The frame is carved and gesso with gilt on wood.
This print in very good condition.  Colors strong. An example of this print in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
