Wolfgang Hoffmann designed this coffee table for the Howell Company of St. Charles, IL.in 1935.  It is constructed of flat band and tubular chromed steel with a plate glass top.  It is in the company literature as the No. 816 glass top table.  The table is 36" wide x 20" deep and 17" high.  The table is pictured in American Art Deco Furniture by Ric Emmett on Page 312.  I've added some really cool period documentation that Ric had found during the research for the book!
