Charles Schneider (1881-1958) created this cameo glass vase for his Le Verre Francais line. The vase, in the “coprins” cutting, was produced from 1923 to 1926. A yellow ground spotted with pale blue overlaid with red glass shading to violet is etched to reveal the pattern. The 7 ½” high vase is inscribed on the foot “Le verre Francais” and “France”.
