Charles Schneider (1881-1958) created this vase for his Le Verre Francais line. The vase, in the "Lavande" etching was produced in 1927 and 1928. A pale violet streak with white glass ground is overlaid with dark violet shading to lavender and is cameo etched to display the pattern. The 7" high vase is inscribed on the foot, "Le Verre Francais" and signed in cameo, "Charder".
