The SS United States which was known as "The Big U" was built in 1952 for the United States Lines and was hailed as one of the achievements of US Shipbuilding Art. She is the largest ocean liner to date built in the United States and still holds the record for the fastest Westbound Transatlantic Crossing in 1952. This Aluminum and wood railing section is from this ship and is 60" long x 38" high including the floor molding which is a later addition. $2200.00
