"Dark Night" by David Robinson, Lithograph on paper. (17 1/2 X 23").  Mr. Robinson is a noted Southern regional Artist.  He is an artist, art historian with numerous publications to his name, Professor of Art and Museum Director.  Having spent the 1970's living in the South Pacific islands much of his art reflects the lush colors of the tropical islands and the precision and sparsity of Japanese design.  This particular print reflects the darkness of the night on an uninhabited atoll with nothing but lightening to highlight the sky, surf and rocks.
