The Austrian firm, Goldscheider Manufactury and Majolica Factory, was founded in Vienna in 1885 by Friedrich Goldscheider who came originally from Pilsen in Bohemia. The company grew and became one of the most important makers of terracotta, faience and bronze decorative items in Austria eventually spreading to France, Germany and Italy. June Wayne was born in 1918 in Chicago. A bored student she left high school at 16.
Early in life, she recognized that the pixels of color in comic strips, when merged with vision, produced different colors. Her early work used technique of pointillism to make images, a similar to the works of Seurat and Signac.

Jean de Botton had a long and prolific career as painter, illustrator and muralist. His successful career started in the 1920s and continued for four decades. Though he received a degree in Philosophy from the Lycée Rollins in Paris he went on to travel extensively and become a well-established artist.
David Robinson
Mr. Robinson is a noted Southern regional Artist. He is an artist, art historian with numerous publications to his credit, Professor of Art and Museum Director. Having spent the 1970's living in the South Pacific islands much of his art reflects the lush colors of the tropical islands and the precision and sparcity of Japanese design.
Ralph Seyfert
Ralph was born August 18, 1929 in Port Washington Wisconsin, son of Fred "Fritz" and Elva Race Seyfert.
He was a graduate of Port Washington High School and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Mr. Seyfert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, from 1953 until 1955. He taught art at Homestead High School in Mequon for many years before retiring.

Born February 21, 1909 in Philadelphia, Arthur Abrams began drawing as a child of five, and continued producing art until just before his death in Sarasota, Florida during 1981.
He began studies at the Graphic Sketch Club of Philadelphia, later teaching and exhibiting there. 1924 brought a scholarship to the Philadelphia College of Art, but his lack of interest in commercial art had him move to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
