Description

One French art deco vase designed by Charles Schneider (1881-1953) for Verreries Schneider, Epinay-sur-Seine, France. The vase, in the “Palmettes” acid etched cutting from his Le Verre Francaise line is of mottled white and light violet glass, overlaid by violet spotted with blue with a violet foot. The 15 ½” vase was produced in 1927 and 1928 and is signed in the cameo “Charder” and script signed “Le Verre Francaise” on the base.
