Description

One French art deco moulded glass vase designed in 1926 by Rene Lalique (1860-1945) called “Ormeaux”. The vase in ovoid form with everted rim is moulded in clear and frosted glass with a green stain. The décor is medium relief with serrated leafage. It has an acid etched signature “R. Lalique”. The vase is # 984 in the Catalogue Raisonne. It was in the Lalique Catalogs of 1928, 1932 and 1937. It was discontinued after 1947. It is 7” high.
