This elegant art deco table is from the 1930’s. The tabletop, legs, and base are burl wood veneers which allow the eye to wonder amongst the woods delicate natural patterns. The edge is surrounded by a deep hand carved scalloped apron and is left with a rough finish. The strongly pronounced scalloped apron juxtaposes the smooth and delicate flowing patterns found in the burl wood veneers, creating a feeling of equilibrium. The table is 63” x 39” and stands 32” tall.
