Description

This is an original vintage poster, created by Giovanni Mingozzi, in 1950, archivally mounted on linen for preservation, and measures 38.5 X 26.5 inches. In excellent condition. Mingozzi spent his entire life and career in Bolgna, where he foundedthe Alta studio in the 1920s His posters uniformily reflected his Modernist view of design. This strong image from later in his career promotes the company's soda, created in 1932 as the first pre-mixed alcoholic drink sold world-wide. The stylized, signature bottle was designed by the Italian futurist Fortunato Depero and described as an upside down goblet.
