Rare 1930's Birdekin design bamboo stand up bar with footrest and original polished black bakelite top. This tropical design vintage 1930's Art Deco stand up bar has a cool curved design with a built in footrest that wraps around the bottom for people sitting at the bar.
 
It features three interior shelves that the bartender has easy access to with plenty of storage inside.  The top shelf is taller for liquor bottles with the two lower shelves perfect for barware.
 
Deco-Dence's artisans hand sanded and polished the original black bakelite top to the bar and it is now smooth as silk with a really beautiful deep sheen. Bakelite is an extremely hard material and impervious to liquids so it will stand up to years of use with no degradation. We also hand detailed and polished the main bamboo cabinet so it has a beautiful sheen to it as well.
