Donald Deskey (1894 – 1969) designed this very rare arm and side chair for the Ficks Reed Company of Ohio in 1933.  The chairs are of square tube nickel steel with fine cream  leather upholstery.  The arm chair is 18” wide, 22” deep and 29” high.  The side chair is 18” wide, 22” deep and 29” high.  The chairs are in excellent condition and are included in the book, American Art Deco Furniture.
