Tapio Wirkkala (Finland, 1915 - 1985) was a design genius and one of the pioneers in Industrial Design of the 1900's.   This Ultima Thule pitcher will hold 17 oz. and shows the fabulous "ice-like" reference to Finland's winters making us think of melting ice!  Picture your morning orange juice showing its best color behind this really cool pitcher!   A great example of Mid-Century Modern design.
