This rare American art deco four drawer chest was designed in the 1930’s by Donald Deskey (1894-1989) for the Widdicomb Furniture Company Grand Rapids, Michigan. Constructed of exotic veneers with black lacquer base and brushed steel handles. The base extends up one side with a brushed steel bar. The chest retains its brass "Widdicomb" tag and is 36 ½" high, 44" wide and 18" deep.
