A 7" tall "Brutlaist" style metal house sculpture, signed "Noble"
The house is diplayed on an  8" square wood base, signed underneath "1985 by Noble"

The term Brutalist was used for the first time in the early 1950s, to describe simple concrete buildings designed by Le Corbusier. The Brutalist sculptures have some of  these features:

 

  • Rough, unfinished surfaces
