Maxime Old French Art Deco Dining Room Suite

Description

This lovely French art deco dining room suite was designed ca. 1942 by Maxime Old (1910 -1991). The suite includes a dining table (with two marching leaves), six chairs, a sideboard with two doors and four drawers and a bar server with a door and a glass display area. The suite is constructed of solid mahogany and and mahogany veneers and has bronze fittings. The sideboard and server have the original Portoro marble tops. The dining table is 71” long (110” with the leaves) 39 ½” wide and 30” high. The server is 51” wide, 38” high and 18 1/2” deep. The sideboard is 79" wide x 20 1/2" deep and 38" high and each chair is 33" high x 18" wide, 17" deep and with a seat height of 19". The set is in excellent original condition.
