Henrietta M. King
1879-1968
King was born in Wyoming, Ontario, Canada in 1879.
Except for a brief period at the Pratt Institute, King was a self-taught artist. Primarily an East Coast artist, she also had a home inLaguna Beach at 905 Temple Terrace where she died on May 18, 1968.
King's work includes oils, watercolors, drawings, and enamels for which she won many first prizes at juried exhibitions.
