Description

A very modernistic chess set designed by Austin Cox for ALCOA Aluminum in 1962. ALCOA had the set designed to give to their top customers. This set is in its conforming walnut case with Plexiglas sliding door. The pieces are all polished aluminum on one side and anodized on the other side to distinguish each player's pieces. The case is 31" long x 2 1/2" high and 6" deep.
