A mixed media/collage titled Fishing Port by Mexican-American artist Alfredo Santos, b.1927 in San Diego. Santos gained much fame for painting six large murals while imprisoned at San Quentin Prison, CA 1951-55. He then painted and owned galleries in Mexico. Returning to the US in '67, he ran a popular gallery and bohemian gathering spot in Fleischmanns, N.Y. Moved back to San Diego around '87.
