This French art deco dining table was designed by Maurice Rinck ca 1935. In 1937 Rinck won a gold medal at the Paris International Exposition. The table top is constructed of rich macassar ebony veneers as are the curved supports and the bottom stretcher, The curved feet at each end are of solid mahogany. The table has been refinished in high gloss, clear lacquer and is in excellent condition. It is 71” long, 40” wide and 29” high. When the two 18” leaves are added at each end, the table is 107” long.
