Charles Schneider (1881-1953) created this pitcher for his Le Verre Francais line. It is acid etched in the "Pavots" line that was produced from 1923 to 1926. The pitcher has a yellow glass ground overlaid with red shading to violet glass with a violet applied WORD. It is signed, "Le Verre Francais". The vase is 8 1/2" high.
