This set of four British art deco bar stools were made by PEL in 1933. Founded in Birmingham in 1931 as Practical Equipment Limited, the company changed its name in 1932 to PEL. The stools are known in company records as “RP14 Bar Stool with back”. The chrome frame is bright, the seat and back covered in black vinyl and the stools are ready for kitchen or bar. Each stool is 42 ½” high, 19” deep and 15” wide. The seat height is 31 ¼”.
