Ray Howlett (American, b. 1940) dichroic light sculpture, titled Inner Pyramid. This unique sculpture utilizes technology which causes visible light to be split into distinct beams of different wavelengths or colors. Actual light sculpture measures 26"H, 8.5"L, 8.5"W, with etched signature on bottom left side "Ray Howlett c1985, 159/300". Base is smoked glass on three sides and aluminum mirror on the fourth.
