Come to the Retro Pavilion during Art Deco Weekend to see and shop for interesting antiques, art, jewelry and unusual vintage finds from a sampling of dealers who will be exhibiting at the internationally renowned Original Miami Beach Antique Show, the world’s largest indoor antique show.
Some lucky shoppers also will receive FREE passes to this top-rated antique, art and jewelry show, which will be given away throughout Art Deco Weekend!
The theme this year is "The Art of Architecture." The ADW festival will fill Miami Beach's Ocean Drive and all contiguous byways from Friday, January15, virtually nonstop throughSunday, January 17. Celebrate Art Deco Weekend on January15-17, 2016 on Ocean Drive through the over 85 different events MDPL scheduled for the 2016 event. The festival is free and open to the public.

Barna Basilides was a Hungarian artist. He began his career in 1920 at the Hungarian Royal School of Arts, studying graphic design and from 1921 - 1925 he studied at the HUngarian Academy of Fine Arts then continued under the tutelage of Rudnay Bosznay and Stephen Julius. He designed the tapestries for the League of Nations Palace in Geneva. Mainly known as a landscape painter, he worked for ARTEX after WW II.
