Carlos Valdez Mujica

Carlos Valdez Mujica was born in Chile and worked in Chile and Uruguay and in Mendoza, Argentina.   He is know mostly for his work depicting images of Jesus, the Virgin May and the Saints.  The figures are highly stylized and very decorative.   He included high relief images of stones, fish, flowers in his work.   He worked in lacquer over wood which was used in creating works in China but had not been used much in the Western World.  He was also a teacher   He died in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1961.  His most important work was in the 1940's.

Jean Claude Aujame

Pierre François Claude Jean Aujame is an artist born in 1905, died in 1965.
French painter, a watercolourist, whose works are kept in the Modern Art Museum in Paris, and in the museums of Albi, Grenoble, Gueret, etc.
He died on 5 July 1965 in Chemilly, France.
 
 

Morton Dimondstein

1920-2000
Morton Dimondstein was born in New York  and studied at the American Artists School in New York from 1937 - 1939 the ASL from 1939-41 and in Mexico City from 1950 - 1951.
At the age of seventeen Morton Dimondstein enrolled in the American Artists School and then the Art Students League in New York City, where he studied painting, drawing, and printmaking with Anton Refregier, Harry Sternberg, and Kimon Nicolaides.

This Gucci bag is in excellent condition.   Designed by Tom Ford it's one of the most iconic bags in the Gucci collection.  The bag has a magnetic snap closure  The interior is also charteruse and has one slip pocket wth the Gucci embossed brand.  
It is 13" wide x 6" tall and 2" deep.  The total length with the chain is 17".

 
 

Tom Ford

Tom Ford was born August 27, 1961 in Austin Texas.  His family moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico when he was 11 and left for New York City to study art history at New York University when he was 18.  He later sgudied at Parsons New School for Design.  He has been a model and actor, has directed films and worked for Gucci as a designer.
