This is a Bertil Vallien sculpture titled "Albert" from the artist's "Brain Series." The sculpture depicts a three-dimensional human head. The piece is made of clear glass with a matte finish and features a black ovular center that originates from the top of the crown and ends at the tip of the nose. The black center creates a pupil-like effect within the eyes and alludes to the presence of a brain. The piece is designed to lay on its side for display. It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. It measures approximately 3" long, 1.5" wide, and 2.25" deep from the tip of the nose to the back of the head.
