Description

You are looking at the wonderful terracotta frieze that was originally from the Sheridan Theater in Chicago. The condition is very good antique condition with a few expected bits missing. This Roman style facade is a Neoclassical Italian Renaissance depiction of a procession of gods. The Sheridan Theater was built in 1927 by architect John E. O. Pridemore. It remained as a theater until 1951 and was eventually demolished in the 1990's. 83 feet long..The frieze is currently installed. We can help arrange for dismantling and shipping.
