Vintage pair of Hansen brass double swing arm wall lamps or sconces. Style # L1706 designed by George W. Hansen, this wall sconce has become a staple in interior design since it was introduced.
Never used.They are new, they were never used, they were only cleaned to remove the inevitable stains of the passage of time

Pair of double swing arm wall lamps designed in 1947 by George W. Hansen for Hansen Lamps New York. Manufactured by Metalarte . Original cast brass markers mark stamp, on backplate, and top of backplate "Hansen, NEW YORK."

Designed by Georg W. Hansen in 1947 while improvising a reading lamp for his bunk during World War 2, Hansen designed a pair of polished brass double swing arm sconces. This pair presents with original harps and solid brass finials Signed Hansen This is the original swing arm lamp favored by designers for nearly 75 years. Each hinge can be tightened to lock in position. Manufactured by Metalarte, Barcelona, Spain for Hansen New York. Hansen Lamps was acquired by Hinson Lighting in 2001 after the death of Georg Hansen
